The judge’s perspective is, to an extent, subjective but the judges that attend our competitions have all gone through a training process with the CACC to help them provide an objective and consistent appraisal of our images.
This is an opportunity to hear from Amanda Wright – an established CACC judge ‘on the circuit’ – on what judges look for, how they approach an image presented to them and how they frame the feedback they give.
There will be the opportunity to put yourself in a judge’s shoes and have a go at assessing an image or two, yourself.
The final part of the evening will be an image surgery; bring along some pictures (not ones that you have previously entered in club competitions) on which you would like some informal critique.
