NWFed Round 3: Amanda Wright's Report and Results

On Tuesday 30th November, Harrow Camera Club hosted, via Zoom, the third and final round of the NWFed. Our judge was Paul Burwood who admirably sifted through both PDI and PDI/Print skilfully scoring images from a myriad of different genres.

The first (prints) round was a bit of a nail biter as all three clubs finished on 89 points which due to the lead Park Street had over us and Harrow from the two previous rounds meant it was highly unlikely that either of us would catch them up so it became a battle for second place. In the end Park Street came 3rd with 86 in the PDI round, EHHPS came 2nd with 88 and Harrow romped ahead with 94

So in the third round:

Harrow won with 183
EHHPS came 2nd with 177
Park Street 3rd with 175

Our top scorers in prints were

Isolation by Nigel Glasgow 20 and a STAR
Mike Lloyd’s High Priestess and Paul Mason’s In Shape both scored 18

Our top scorers in PDI’s were

Shaun Hodge with Sculpture 19
Kristin Mason with Mademoiselle D’Azure 19

Overall scores from all 3 rounds then look like this

1st Place Park Street 570
2nd Place Harrow 564
3rd Place EHHPS 557

Despite disappointingly coming last we did very well with our Starred images and congratulations go to:

John Alexander with Leap Of Faith
Jacqui Sinnatt with She Comes In Colours Everywhere
Dennis Durack with Torridon, Scottish Highlands
Nigel Glasgow with Isolation

These photographers will have another chance in the “Starred images competition” on Final's Day

We wish Park Street good luck in their Semi-Final round.
